Severed tendon in little finger?

Hi. I severed my 2 flexi tendons and damaged a nerve in my little finger on thursday whilst emptying the dishwasher when a glass broke in my hand. I've had surgery on the tendons on sunday, and am home now, but its quite tender, swollen and in a cast for 4 weeks +. Anyone have any experience on how long it will be before it is healed? the scar feels to be only along my hand, not elongated up my finger or anything. I'm not too bothered about the numbness from the nerve damage - more just the tendon injury. I can live with numb fingers until its all better!
