Mom hates my parenting....advice?

kay I have a 3 month old son and a 6 year old daughter. My mom constantly goes on about how bad my parenting method an waste time. I do time outs, take toys/tv away, and sometimes yelling. My kids aren't bad at all just a temper tanturm here an there but yea she wants me to spank. I know she did that to me and my brother an we turned out fine but still I want to do raising my kids my way. How do I explain this to her? I don't want to be rude...advice
