Biology sexual selection question about augmented animals?

Lets say there is a breed of fish in which there is no sexual dimorphism...If there is an experiment done in which male fish have tails glued on them to elongate them, and the females choose them, what does this mean? I would know the answer if there WERE sexual dimorphism but in this case there isn't... thanks so much...
